Seretta Hart has been playing the trumpet professionally for twelve years, actively performing throughout
the state of Utah and surrounding areas. She has maintained an active teaching studio for twelve years
and is sought for both her performing and teaching abilities. Seretta was the Director of Bands at
Springville High School from 2005-2007 and the Assistant Director of Athletic Bands with instructional
responsibilities in Music Education and Trumpet at Brigham Young University from 2007-2008. She
currently teaches at Utah Valley University as the trumpet studio professor.

Seretta received her Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education at BYU in 2003, her Master of Music degree
in Instrumental Conducting at BYU in 2005, and is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Musical Arts degree in
Trumpet Performance at the University of Utah.
