Christopher Holmes, baritone, returned to his home Provo after obtaining degrees in opera at the Oberlin College Conservatory of Music, Temple University, teaching voice at Texas State University, and performing throughout the United States. With over 35 operatic roles to his credit, Christopher has been featured by companies such as Austin Lyric Opera, Central City Opera, Eugene Opera, Phoenix Opera, Juneau Lyric Opera, San Antonio Opera, and Utah Festival Opera. In addition to serving as the artistic director of the Utah Lyric Opera, he remains an active performer. His engagements in Utah have included appearances with Utah Symphony, Ballet West, Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Temple Square Chorale and Orchestra at Temple Square, Salt Lake Choral Artists, Oratorio Society of Utah, American West Symphony, Oquirrh Mountain Symphony, and Murray Symphony.
