teacher and is on the faculty of the Kodaly Association-BYU Intermuse Academy. A graduate of Brigham Young
University, Monica was the 2001 Utah ASTA Studio Teacher of the year.
Monica has played extensively with Ballet West, The Mormon Tabernacle Choir, and The Utah Opera Company.
She is also an active recording musician with many film soundtracks and other recordings to her credit.
She maintains a large cello studio at home and coordinates the lower string program in the Provo School District.
Her students have won many awards, honors, and scholarships including principal chairs in Utah All-State Orchestra,
Disney Youth Orchestra, and National High School Honor Orchestra. Two of her cello students have been selected
to be soloists in the Utah Symphony "Salute to Youth" Concerts.
