UVU Jazz Band

Jazz Band, an ensemble comprised of music majors and talented non-music majors, is committed
to the study and performance of the finest standard and contemporary popular idiom works for Jazz
Band.  All wind and percussion students must be a member of the Symphony Band in order to
participate in the Jazz Band.  THe band maintains ana ctive schedule and enjoys a reputation as a
group committed to only the highest musical standards. 

The Jazz Band is open to all university students, however membership is deteremined by audition. 
Directed by Dr. James Colonna, The Jazz Band presents four concerts a year and participates in various
community service venues. 

The band rehearses Monday/Wednesday from 3:00-4:20.
