An ensemble comprised of music and non-music majors, they are committed to the study and performance of the finest standard and contemporary popular idiom works for Jazz Band. All wind and percussion students must be a member of the Symphony Band in order to participate in the Jazz Band. The band maintains an active schedule and enjoys a reputation as a group committed to only the highest musical standards. The band presents four concerts a year and participates in various community service venues.
