NSE Information

Dear Student

We are "dancing in the streets", and want to congratulate you for deciding to study with us! Due to your high academic standing at Utah Valley University, you are eligible to participate in the National Student Exchange Program. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity allows you to represent UVU at a university of your choice while paying either UVU tuition or in-state tuition in your host campus.

Participating in National Student Exchange allows you to take new courses, see new places, make new friends, and enroll in academic options that are custom to your major. You can study for full academic year at nearly 200 NSE member universities in locations throughout the United States, Canada, Guam, Puerto Rico and the U.C. Virgin Islands. NSE provides opportunity to:

  • Broaden your personal and educational perspectives
  • Live in and explore new areas
  • Learn from different professors
  • Experience personal growth
  • Explore new areas of study
  • Take courses not available at UVU
  • Acquire life skills
  • Explore career options
  • Investigate graduate schools
  • Experience life from a different point of view

Many UVU students have claimed that NSE changed their life and granted them educational and personal insight. "I jumped into a new culture, took different courses, and grew as an individual more than I imagined. I hope every student has an adventure like this one."
(Stephanie Fullmer, Junior).

With your high academics and an engaged spirit, you can have an adventure fitted perfectly to you. Contact us with any questions about the program, or stop by to pick up your application. Good luck in your endeavors and education!
