The Outdoor Adventure Center and the Science departments have teamed up to offer Natural History Excursions for school credit!
Come and experience "hands on learning", a perfect opportunity to apply education learned in the classroom in an outdoor setting. Register through the UVU Class Catalog under Biology or Geology 202R, participants will receive one elective science credit.
April 2 - 6, 2014
Spend four days with UVU science faculty in the beautiful Mojave National Preserve studying astronomy, botany, geology, zoology, and archeology in a spectacular natural setting. We will explore lava tubes, sand dunes, cactus gardens, Joshua tree forests and petroglyphs. Sign up for Science Excursion (BIOL/GEOL 202R) and earn 1 hour of science elective credit. Special course fee of $235 covers the cost of the trip and includes transportation, food, and group equipment.

Curriculum Covered:Receive 3 credits of either GEO or BIO credit.

Once you have registered, you can pay the deposit to the OAC.
