Roots of Knowledge is a stained glass window project at UVU, housed in the Library. The work artistically chronicles the human quest for intellectual advancement and progress. Spanning 90+ intricately designed and handcrafted panes collectively measuring 9.5' in height by 200' in length.
Heading the project is renowned local stained glass artisan Tom Holdman, whose works can be found in Latter-day Saint temples, Catholic churches, businesses and private homes. Additional, filmmaker Lee Groberg desires to launch a PBS special focusing on individual locations and topics referenced in the artworks. The project is scheduled for completion in 2017, corresponding with UVU's 75th anniversary.
