<title>The Great Migration - OIT Migrates to New System</title>
<link>http://www.uvu.edu/oit/feeds/news.html</link>
<description>The UVU campus community is migrating to a new technology system, but don't worry - you won't be left behind. In this move from GroupWise and other Novell technologies to Outlook (Microsoft Exchange) and other Microsoft technologies, the Office of Information Technology (OIT) has made all the necessary arrangements. Consider us your personal team of travel agents. We have been preparing for the move since April 14, 2010, when President Holland first introduced the project, and we will escort you every step of the way.

This announcement is the first of those steps. In the coming weeks, you will receive a series of emails detailing each leg of the virtual trip. Those emails should answer any questions you may have, such as, &quot;When are we leaving? Are we all leaving at once? Will I need any luggage? What should I pack? Will I be leaving anything behind, or can I take it all with me? Will anything get lost along the way? Can I bring my mother?&quot;

Don't panic. When we reach our destination, we will find better collaboration, more efficient work, and happier computer users (you). It's going to be a great trip!

For more information about The Great Migration and how it will affect you, visit &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.uvu.edu/oit/migration/&quot; target=&quot;_blank&quot;&gt;The Great Migration web site&lt;/a&gt;.</description>
