You can obtain the installation MSI from the UVLink portal. After logging into UVLink, select the “Help” tab. The Identity Finder installation
file is located in the “Software Downloads” area. Expand the “Employee” folder by
clicking the "+" sign. Expand the Mac OS folder, then select the “IdentityFinder126.96.36.199.zip”
file to download.
Once the download is complete, run the zipped installer package from your downloads
location by clicking it.
If you get an error message when you try to open the zipped package, perform the following
steps. Otherwise, proceed to Step 3.
Open your System Preferences by clicking the Apple Icon in the top left corner of
your screen and selecting “System Preferences…” from the drop down menu.
Select “Security & Privacy”.
On the General tab, you may need to unlock the settings so you can make changes. Click
the lock icon to unlock your settings if it is locked.
Enter your login credentials to unlock the settings.
Select “Anywhere” under the “Allow applications downloaded from:” option. Confirm
your selection by pressing the “Allow From Anywhere” button in the popup window.
You may now re-lock your settings if you wish by clicking the lock icon in the bottom
left corner of your screen. Close the Window using the red circle in the upper left
corner of the Window and attempt to open the zipped package again.
“Continue” past the introduction.
Select the hard drive where you would like to install Identity Finder and click “Continue”.
You may choose a location to install Identity Finder or you may use the default location.
Click “Install” to continue.
You may be prompted to enter your login information to authorize the installation.
Once the installation is complete, close the installer.
You can confirm that it was successfully installed by using “Finder” to locate Identity
Finder in the “Applications” section.
