Yes. The administration has made orientation mandatory for all incoming UVU students.
Do I have to attend Orientation before I register for classes?
In order to register for classes you will need to attend an orientation. The orientation
hold will be removed as soon as you attend. Sign up early!
Do I need to attend all of Orientation?
Yes. You will receive important information during all parts of the orientation. It
is over mid-afternoon so you will have plenty of time to take care of other personal
things on campus. We suggest making an appointment with your academic advisor after
2:00 the day of your orientation.
I am a student attending UVU at a satellite campus (Wasatch, North, West, etc) or
I am only taking online courses. Is orientation still required?

Orientation is held in the Grande Ballroom in the Student Center.
Where do I park for Orientation?
Please park in the visitor lot for Orientation. We will validate your parking when
you sign in. If the lots are full ask the parking attendant for other parking options.
