Community Writing Center at Orem Public Library

About the Community Writing Center

The Community Writing Center (CWC) at the Orem Public Library provides FREE writing resources for the Utah Valley community. This center is funded through a phased grant from the Center of Engaged Learning. The CWC will provide coaching sessions, workshops, and handouts.

Coaching Session Overview:

• Introduction to the CWC
• Focus and direction on writing content
• Proofreading
• Ways to improve writing techniques and much more

Future workshops will run approximately 45 minutes and will include presentations, demonstrations, and practice of specific writing principle(s). These workshops will be instructed by Writing Coaches and UVU Faculty members. Topic suggestions and special interests are welcomed.
