Who can use the Community Writing Center at Orem Public Library?
Anyone interested in improving his or her writing skills at any level or stage of the writing process.
What do I need to bring to the CWC?
Bring a copy of your writing, your questions and/or concerns, the assignment sheet (if appropriate), and the desire to become a better writer.
What kind of assignments can I get help with?
Class assignments, resumes, scholarships essay, letter to the editor, family history, etc.
Do I have to bring a completed draft?
We help patrons at any stage of the writing process -- brainstorming, drafting, revising, final editing, etc.
Do I have to be enrolled at UVU or in an English class to get help?
No! We help patrons working on assignments in any subject and encourage patrons to produce high-quality work for anything they are writing.
