Sherry Harward is the Creator and Director of the UVU CareerPassport Program, an award-winning, non-graded program that helps UVU student actively engage in their career development process. Sherry has been employed at UVU for over 20+ years and has held several positions including adjunct instructor, “Women in Technology” Creator/Director, Assistant CTE Director, Office Education Advisor, Multimedia Advisor, and administrative assistant for several departments. She has also owned several businesses in the entertainment industry. Sherry has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Leadership and Communications and a Masters in Leadership. Sherry is passionate about career and personal development, entrepreneurship and the creation process, leadership, marriage and relationship topics, technology, spirituality, fashion, health, women's topics, and music. Sherry is married to her best friend (Scott Harward) and has four fabulous children (and their spouses) and 8 and three-fourths darling grandchildren, all of whom she adores and enjoys spending time with. Sherry is a strong advocate for UVU employees (and students) and is honored to serve as the PACE President for 2015-2017.
Nathan Gerber loves working at UVU and is currently the Director of Web Development Services. Since 1994, Nathan has enjoyed being part of the team here at UVU in many capacities. He loves the strategic focus of the campus and endeavors in working with all departments across campus to reflect that vision on their websites.
Nathan has served as the PACE Communications Chair, and member of the Communications Committee, and now serves as the PACE Vice President. He looks forward to the interactions and collaborations with others across campus on PACE issues.
Nathan is a devoted father of five children and loving husband of Janelle, his wife. You’ll often find Nathan working in his garden, hiking, fishing, biking, or goofing around with his kids.
Shalece Nuttall is an Academic Advisor in the Department of Criminal Justice where she advises students interested in pursuing a career in the Criminal Justice and Forensic Science fields. She absolutely loves her job and the students that she works with. She has been at UVU since 2003 working in both the Woodbury School of Business and Advisor Training and Development. Shalece has a Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology with an emphasis in Instructional Design and Educational Technology, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Paralegal Studies.
Shalece has served as the Social Committee Chair 2008-10, the Staff Education/Development Chair 2012-14, and as Vice-President 2014-2016. She is currently serving as the PACE President Elect, and is excited for the opportunity to represent the Staff of UVU next year as PACE President. She also serves as the Secretary for UHESA (the state staff association). Outside of UVU Shalece enjoys spending time with her husband and four children, chocolate lab and kitten. On any given day you can find her reading a sappy romance novel, watching action movies or enjoying the outdoors.
Leslie has been a UVU Wolverine since the ‘90’s, and has been working in the Sorensen Student Center Administration office for 15 years. She is the voice on the phone when you have questions about scheduling the Student Center and the Student Life and Wellness Center. She is the 25live Guru. She has been privileged to be on the PACE Board as Nomination Chair, Social Chair, Vice President and now as Secretary. She loves the energy and fun working with students and staff here at UVU. We are the PROUD WOLVERINES!
She is a wife and mother of 4, and grandmother of 8, soon to be 11. She and her husband Bart live under the G in Pleasant Grove, where Bart has been a teacher at PG Jr for 34 years (in the same room). In her free time she loves to garden, quilt, read, travel, and visit all her children, where ever they are in the world.
