Mission Statement:
Utah Valley University’s Parent Relations Council serves as a resource to parents and families to further their understanding of the UVU (student) experience in order to support student learning, persistence and graduation. To support this mission and the mission of Utah Valley University, we strive to:
- Serve as a resource to parents by acting as a liaison to key campus offices and services.
- Promote meaningful engagement of parents with campus life by coordinating and developing programs and events that encourage fuller participation by parents in the educational experience of their students.
- Communicate important and timely information via the parent website, newsletters, email and other relevant forms of communication.
- Facilitate opportunities for parent involvement, leadership and feedback through the UVU Parent Association.
