Work-Study Employment

Work-Study qualifying UVU students can be hired as America Reads and Counts tutors or Community Mentor tutors. Tutors may work up to 20 hours per week helping to improve reading and math skills among students. Tutors will work one-on-one and/or in small groups, assisting students grades K-12.
 
Key qualifications:
  • Desire to make a difference in education
  • Ability to work well with K-12 students
  • Transportation to and from assigned tutoring site
  • Block of time during school hours for tutoring
