Mission Statement

In a world permeated by violence and injustice, the Peace and Justice Studies Program at Utah Valley University has as its mission the understanding of effective means to achieve peace and justice in interpersonal, community, national, and international contexts.
We invite students and our community to participate in intellectual engagement whereby they may come to understand the reasons for, and solutions to, the complex problems of violence and injustice, and to contribute to peaceful and just alternatives.
