UVU NYC Student Trip

Students and Faculty from UVU Peace and Justice Studies traveled to New York City between 9/22 and 9/26/09 to engage with various parties on the topic of democracy in Iran. The trip was timed to coincide with the U.N. General Assembly meeting and included meetings with human rights activists, scholars, democracy-advocacy NGOs, current Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, and members of the Iranian Parliament. Below are links to narratives written by some of the students who participated in this opportunity.
