The UVU Philosophy Club endeavors to complement the work of the Philosophy Department by providing valuable and enriching activities designed to aid the student in obtaining a well rounded education. These activities are aimed at deepening the student's understanding of philosophy while giving them practical experience with the mechanics of academia. By becoming involved in the Philosophy Club, students will have a more holistic experience with the study of philosophy, cultivate friendships that can be enjoyed during and beyond college, gain experience that will prepare them for future schooling and career opportunities, and give them a competitive advantage.
