Utah Valley University uses an operational planning model for significant sub-units of the campus. These master plans are established with specific tactical goals and objectives designed to advance the institution in line with the strategic directions. These master plans also link to the Institutional Effectiveness program which squarely focuses on assessing the outcomes of specific school and departmental objectives. Some of these plans have existed in the past, but each has been updated to support and implement the overarching mission of the institution.
