Dispatcher - under direction of the Police Department, dispatches for the college police to ensure the safety of students, employees, visitors, and officers on the UVU campuses. Requirements and information:
- At least HS or equivalent education
- Previous dispatch experience preferred
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to perform under stress
- Skilled in computer use/data entry
- Background check performed prior to job offer
- Classified hourly employee, $8.65/hr

Reserve Police Officer - under direction of the Police Chief, enforces Federal, State, University and local laws/regulations; arrests violators and issues citations; conducts formal investigations; records activity by way of first/supplementary reports and other required forms; testifies in court and at formal hearings; attends 40 hours training each year, maintains a working relationship with state/local law enforcement; provides security at special functions/events; handles public assistance calls, such as directing traffic, resolving personal disputes, keeping the peace, and other requests of the public. Requirements and information:
- Utah POST Category I certification
- Valid UT Driver's License
- 21 years old
- Successful character investigation including possession of emotional and mental stability.
- Good medical condition including near/distant vision, ability to distinguish basic colors, and ability to hear the conversational voice
- 1.5 years of law enforcement/criminal justice education and/or experience
- Classified hourly employee, $12.51/hr
