May 2nd- MEDICAL- UVSC Police and Orem Paramedics responded to the Pope Science Building on a report of a 2 year old male having a seizure. The victim was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for further treatment.
May 3rd- MEDICAL- A 75 year old female collapsed at the McKay Events Center and struck her head. The patient was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for further treatment.
May 3rd- THEFT- A 17 year old female was issued a citation for Retail Theft after stealing jewelry during an event at the McKay Events Center.
May 7th- WARRANT SERVICE- A vehicle was stopped for a faulty headlight. The driver had an outstanding warrant for his arrest; as well as was driving on suspension. The male was issued a citation for driving on suspension and transported to the Utah County Jail for the warrant.
May 17th- ILLEGAL CONSUMPTION- A UVSC employee reported a male suspect banging on the doors of the Administration building just after midnight. Officers responded and found a 19 year old intoxicated male with numerous abrasions. The male was arrested and issued a citation for Illegal Consumption. The suspect was then released to his sister.
May 23rd- FIRE- A food heating unit was left on with a table on top of it in a storage area of the Student Center causing the table to catch fire. An alert employee noticed the smoldering table and removed it from the unit causing the release of smoke and setting off the fire alarm. Damage was limited to the table.
May 29th- AUTO BURGLARY- Alert witnesses reported a male suspect breaking into cars near lot R. Officers were able to locate the 24 year old suspect after a short search at the McKay Events Center. The suspected was arrested and confessed to stealing a stereo out of a vehicle in lot R. The suspect had put the stereo in the bed of his sister's pickup truck while she was at the McKay Events Center for her high school graduation. During the burglary, the suspect left his own digital camera in the victim's vehicle.
