I. Policy
POLICY
- All employees and students who operate vehicles on campus must display valid parking decals or permits that can be obtained from Parking Services. Parking Services will provide each employee and student who operates a vehicle on campus with a current set of regulations outlining the rules, regulations, and penalties relating to parking services on campus. It is the responsibility of each UVU employee and student who operates a motor vehicle on campus, to read, understand, and abide by the published regulations.
- Parking Services staff and University Police will be responsible for monitoring approved parking and traffic regulations with full enforcement authority. Violation records will be maintained.
- Parking Services shall make annual recommendations regarding parking and traffic regulations to the Vice President for University Relations and Campus Support who will review and submit them to the President's Council for review and approval. Input will be requested from Faculty Senate, ASUVU, and PACE as part of the review process.
