On Oct. 9, 2009, Matthew S. Holland was ceremonially instated as Utah
Valley University's sixth president. In addition to President Holland,
speakers at the inaugural ceremony included Governor Gary Herbert and
Commissioner of Higher Education William Sederburg. The ceremony capped
a week-long celebration that included events for faculty, staff,
students, alumni and the community. The inauguration ceremony will be
rebroadcast on KBYU Sunday, Oct. 11, at 6 p.m. and Thursday, Oct. 15,
at 10:30 p.m.
