Mr. Cox holds an MBA with an emphasis in finance and is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Northcentral University working on his dissertation. .

Mr. Cox has analyzed and valued over 500 small and medium sized companies for regulatory, litigation, merger and acquisition, and estate planning purposes. This work included testifying as an expert witness in the states of Utah and California and in Federal Bankruptcy court. Mr. Cox was formerly certified as an Accredited Senior Appraiser with a special designation in Business Valuation.

Chief Financial Officer
Mr. Cox served as the CFO for DoBox, Inc., an early stage software company. He was a member of the executive committee and was responsible for all finance, accounting, and HR functions and for managing the relationships with investors and outside professionals and vendors. Significant achievements include successfully raising private equity capital shortly after the market downturn of 2001 and successfully negotiating the sale of the company early in 2002.
Mr. Cox has both graduate and undergraduate finance classes at Utah Valley University, Westminster College, Utah State University, University of Redlands, The University of Phoenix, and Phillips Junior College.
Mr. Cox received his Ph.D. from Northcentral University in Business Administration, specializing in Financial Management. His dissertation topic addressed using intrest rate term spread data to forecast how long a recession might last or when a recession might end.
Mr. Cox received an MBA degree with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Utah and a Bachelors degree with a Major in Finance and Minors in Economics and Marketing.
