MARKETING AND DESIGN COORDINATOR
Jerry coordinates marketing and design for the UVU Bookstore, Student Life, and the Sorensen Student Center. He has worked for UVU since 1998 and has been a marketing and design professional since 1986.
ADJUNCT FACULTY
Jerry has taught for the department of Art and Visual Communication since 1998 and currently teaches Introduction to Visual Arts and Graphic Computer Applications.
TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
"My teaching philosophy revolves around my love of art. Regardless of what subject I am teaching, my primary goal is to help my students gain a greater understanding and appreciation of art. I believe that an understanding and appreciation of art helps us to appreciate creativity, beauty, and expression in all areas of our lives."

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
FREELANCE CONSULTANT/DESIGNER: Clients include California International Airshow, California Rodeo, Fresh Choice Produce Inc., D'Arrigo Brothers Co., Ralph's Grocery Stores, Reggie Jackson, Carmel Community Youth Center, Nebo School District, Envision Utah, Sundance Resort, Salt Lake Radio Broadcasters Association, and Thanksgiving Point.
ART DIRECTOR, SOS COMMUNICATIONS: Clients included United States Department of Agriculture, Zeneca Ag Products, Cornell University, and American Animal Welfare Foundation.
MARKETING SERVICES MANAGER, GEM VEGETABLE COMPANY: Clients included National Pre-Cut Produce, Gold Star Foods, and C. H. Robinson Worldwide, Inc.
SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER, THE CALIFORNIAN NEWSPAPER: Managed Design Services, produced advertising and marketing materials, and created layouts for special editorial sections.
