BS in Computer Science from Brigham Young University.

18 years at Utah Valley University Information Technology as a Programmer/Analyst, Assistant Director, Associate Director and Director of Administrative Programing. Retired, November 2011.

17 years experience working for Signetics, a semiconductor manufacture, using Cobol, Fortran, Mainframe Focus and back-up DBA.

Other: Seven plus years in US Army, 1 year in Vietnam, 3 years in Germany as an Artillery/Air Defense Officer. Awards include 2 Bronze Stars, an Air Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Purple Heart, and Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry with Silver Star.  Also have experience working as a Fireman on the Northern Pacific Railway, J.C. Penney Co Managerial Training program with 4 plus years experience in shoes, men’s and boys clothing and shoe Department Manager. During high school worked in small grocery store in many functions, including meats, and as a salesman in a men’s clothing store.
