My research is centered on atmospheric and space dynamics with a focus on wave motion in the upper atmosphere. By being a faculty member at a PUI, my research projects are now being developed to improve undergraduate participation as well as implementing research activities in the classrooms. Specifically, we investigate the dynamics through data analysis obtained from various instruments (including space-borne) and also develop our own instrumentations. As part of this high altitude research program, we are developing balloon and rocket-borne instrumentation and ground-based optical remote sensing instruments. Students participating in the research are provided with opportunitues to develop their own research objectives and present their work at national and international conferences. Any students interested are encouraged to contact me.
