-    To sample and carry out in-situ trace and major chemical analysis of tourmaline in granitic rocks of the Himalaya of central/northern Nepal

Chalcophile Elements in the Mantle, University of Victoria, Victoria, BC

-    Explored Cu and S behavior in pelagic sediments and implications for chalcophile enrichment in the mantle wedge during subduction.

2013–2014

-    Investigated the Cu budget of mantle peridotites with implications for the behavior of Cu in the upper mantle.

 2011–2012

-    Conducted experimental study of the partitioning of Cu during partial melting of Earth’s mantle.

2007–2008

Lead Geologist

-   Planned and implemented mineral exploration programs for clients using handheld XRF and GPR technology.

-   Created all reports including geologic maps with geochemical and geophysical findings.

 

CH2M HILL, Salt Lake City, UT

2005–2007

Staff Geologist, Field Manager, Site Safety Supervisor

-   Managed the drilling of approximately 100 drill holes and carried out their subsequent well construction using three types of drill rigs.

-   Logged the continuous core of thousands of meters of drill core.

-   Created isopach concentration maps of contamination based on sampling results.

-   Maintained extensive GIS and GPS database including data collected with a Trimble unit.

-   Completed OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour training.
