INTRODUCTION

Susie is Assistant Dean Jeff Maxfield's administrative assistant at the Institute of Emergency Services and Homeland Security/Utah Fire and Rescue Academy. She has been employed with Utah Valley State College (now Utah Valley University) since 2000 and was initially hired as a library assistant. Since 2000, in addition to functioning as a library assistant, Susie has been an administrative assistant (and interim manager) for the curriculum division at the Utah Fire and Rescue Academy and now assists Assistant Dean Maxfield.

Originally from the state of Maine, Susie has called Utah home since 1995 when she moved there from Washington state after graduating from high school.

Susie has earned an AA in English from UVU and is currently working toward a Bachelor's degree in English.

Susie enjoys writing and aspires to someday have some fiction published. She is experimenting with creating her own webpage and as soon as there is content available for viewing will post the link here.
