Linda L. Makin serves as the Vice President for Planning, Budget and Human Resources at Utah Valley University. This division includes the offices of Institutional Effectiveness and Planning, Budget, Institutional Research and Information, Human Resources, and Policy. Linda manages UVU’s Planning, Budgeting, and Assessment (PBA) process and serves as the university’s chief budget/planning officer, policy administrator, and NWCCU accreditation liaison officer. As Vice President for Planning, Budget and Human Resources, she serves as a member of the President’s staff, President’s Cabinet, President’s Council, and President’s Executive Leadership Council. She also attends and participates in UVU Board of Trustees and National Presidential Advisory Board meetings. Linda has over 32 years of higher education experience.
