Assistant department chair.  Filled in for the department chair when absent.  Hired, supervised, and assessed the performance of up to 65 adjunct faculty for the department of developmental mathematics at Utah Valley University.  Organized and conducted annual adjunct faculty training for the department of developmental mathematics.

Faculty connections committee chair.  Worked with a variety of key faculty and staff members at Utah Valley with the goal of more faculty involvement to increase the retention of first year college students.  Coordinated the selection of the book for the Freshman Reading Series and worked with several departments to incorporate the book into their courses.  Judged competitions involving creative uses of the Freshman Reading Program.  Gave multiple presentations at the Freshman Reading Series.  Helped create and assess Freshman Convocation, an event provided to all new Utah Valley University students at the beginning of the academic year.

Utah Mathematical Association of Two Year Colleges (UMATYC).  Helped increase this state-wide organization’s status from just having annual meetings to emerging as an annual conference.  Served as secretary and president of the organization.  Represented UMATYC as both delegate and affiliate president at UMATYC’s parent organization, the American Mathematical Association of Two Year Colleges (AMATYC).

Math Task Force.  Member of a group of several key personnel across the institution with the goal of increasing the image of mathematics at Utah Valley University.  Also worked with the task force in overhauling the developmental mathematics curriculum to align it to the needs of various departments on campus that required algebraic concepts as prerequisites for their course objectives.

Board of Regents Developmental Mathematics Majors Committee, Utah System of Higher Education.  Collaborated with leaders in developmental mathematics programs at institutions of higher education across the state of Utah to annually assess the status of developmental mathematics across the state.  Accomplishments included uniform placement exam scores, course numbering systems, and a uniform 2-year maximum expiration date on placement exam scores.
