Engineering Design Technology
Robert is the Department Chair and a member of the Engineering Design Technology Department in the College of Technology and Computing at UVU. He teaches Basic Drafting, AutoCAD, MicroStation, Architectural Drafting, Advanced Architectural / Commercial Drafting, 3D Architectural Modeling, 3D Structural Modeling, Statics, and Strength of Materials courses. He specializes in the areas of Architectural design, Structural design and Building Information Modeling (BIM)
Robert has been at UVU since 2003.

Precast / Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI)
Prior to teaching Robert’s industrial experience was in the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) field where he specialized in precast/prestressed concrete design, quality control, materials testing, product design, project management, and production management. Robert maintains his ties to the industry by consulting on a variety of projects.
