Associate Professor Bentley specializes in teaching Web Content Development, Instructional Design, and Business Computer Proficiency.

EDUCATION:

M.S. in Business Information Systems and Education from Utah State University
B.S. in Marketing and Distributive Education from Brigham Young University


SERVICE LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES:

Some of Jan’s most recent projects have focused on engaged learning for senior students in Digital Media and in Engineering Graphics and Design Technology.  Last year, Jan accompanied a group of students to Mali, West Africa where the students produced a documentary for the Mali Rising Foundation.  This foundation is dedicated to building hundreds of schools for African children.  She recently returned from a student-oriented trip to Israel to document the surveying and excavation of the Beit Lehi archaeological site.  This archaeological site was designed to advance the understanding and awareness of the general public of ancient religious history through scientific research and education.
