Ellen serves as the  Director of Budgets at Utah Valley University.  The Budget office organizationally resides within the Executive Division under Planning and Budget.  Her role as Director is to help plan, develop and implement UVU’s operating budget.  Supervise position control budgeting ensuring personnel budgeting and expenditures balance.  Comply with state reporting requirements by submitting multiple reports as requested and help departments across campus with their budgeting needs.

Ellen serves as a member of the Planning, Budgeting and Accountability (PBA) Coordinating Committee, University Planning Advisory Committee (UPAC), Course Fee Committee and Faculty Workload Task Force.

Ellen has been working at UVU since 1998.  She worked one year in the Continuing Education Department, one year in Human Resources in the Employment area and the remainder in the budget office.  While at UVU Ellen has received several awards including Spring 2006 PACE Distinguished Employee Award and 2006 Staff Excellence Award for the Executive Division.
