Course Descriptions: Basic Electrical Systems; basic electrical theory i.e. OHMS Law, series and parallel circuitry. Proper V3age fo wiring diagrams. Component identification and testing. Charging and starting systems, tractor and trailer wiring and lighting.
Electronic Engine Diagnosis; This course describes in detail the VSE of electronic engine diagnostic software for Caterpillar, Cummins, and Detroit Diesel, engines and related components. Troubleshooting procedures for electronci engine controls. Mechanical fuel system operation and troubleshooting for Cat, Cummins, Detroit Diesel and Bosch Fuel injection systems. Both mechanical and electronic.
Automotive Air Conditioning; Theory and repair procedures for today's automotive A/C systems.
Basic Engine; This course covers basic shop skills, the operating principles of a Diesel engine, Disassembly and overhaul procedures. Engine systems, familiarization and repair.
