I began my career in higher education 9 years ago, placing students in jobs and internships for a local technical college. I now have the privilege to work for Utah Valley University as the Internship Coordinator. I enjoy working with more mature students who have defined focus and goals for their future.

As Internship Coordinator for UVU, much of my time is dedicated to networking with businesses and community resources to find new internship opportunities. I also meet with students on a regular basis to help them find their “perfect fit” internship. I particularly work with students whose interest lies in government, social services, and international internship opportunities.

I completed a year-long internship with the Utah County Health Department before graduating with a Bachelors degree from UVU in 2007, and know firsthand the benefits of completing an internship. I strive to share these benefits with students while encouraging UVU’s mission of engaged learning.”

I am excited to add teaching to my duties here at UVU.  I will be teaching Career Preparation for the Woodbury School of Business starting Fall 2014.
