Tim L. Fisher is a business strategy and marketing professor
and consultant. He specializes in global
marketing and discovering innovative responses to strategic challenges. Tim built a highly successful, 20-year high-tech career,
primarily with Microsoft and Hewlett-Packard, in sales management, product marketing, and channel development. He has held executive and management
positions at these companies, working throughout 40 countries around the world.
He currently teaches International Business and Strategy, at
the Woodbury School of Business, Utah Valley University. He has previously taught International
Marketing and driven consulting projects in the MBA program at the Marriott
School of Business at Brigham Young University.
Tim is a member of the National Ski Patrol, King County
Search and Rescue, and has skied from Alaska to Chile to the European Alps in a
pursuit of powder. He also enjoys racing
his mountain bike in cross-country endurance events. He holds a B.S. degree in Finance from Brigham
Young University and a MBA degree in Strategy and Marketing from the University
of Washington. He is married to a
wonderful registered nurse who practices her trade often on their four
action-sport oriented children.
