The CHANGE Initiative is a highly competitive national program that trains undergraduate students to become agents of change. Oxfam is dedicated to finding long-term solutions to poverty, hunger, and social injustice around the world. Those who are accepted will attend a week-long leadership training program (during the last week of July) in Boston, MA. The CHANGE program seeks to develop capable and confident leaders, who are informed and will apply their skills and insights to run Oxfam campaigns on their campuses and in their communities.
U.S. college students who will be entering their sophomore or junior year may apply. Students should have strong ideals and desire to be personally involved by changing the way they see the world, then acting on a global level. Applicants must be willing to invest time and energy to be more aware of social justice issues.
Covers all costs of traveling to Boston and attending the conference.
One week, the last week in July.
The application process is online and requires a faculty advisor. Please visit the Oxfam website to create a login account.
