UVU Cheer took 1st place at the 2009 USA Collegiate Nationals in Anaheim CA, March 29th-30th! Way to Go National Champs!!
UVU Dance Team took 3rd place at the 2009 NCA/NDA Collegiate Nationals in Daytona Beach FL, April 9th-10th! 

The UVU Spirit Squad is comprised of the UVU Wolverine Dancers, Cheerleaders, and the Wolverine Mascot. The UVU Spirit Squad performs at all home women’s volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball, as well as numerous other public appearances. The goal of the UVU Spirit Squad is to promote school spirit by entertaining audiences and encouraging crowd involvement, as while representing UVU on a national level at competition.
