The UVU Dance Team has competed Nationally for the past 11 years in both the USA and NDA National Collegiate Championships. They have consecutively placed and also won the innovative choreography award. They recently won a partial paid bid to Nationals at the 2008 NDA Summer Camp. The UVU Dance Team is a team whos main purpose and goal is to provide spirit and entertainment at all home Athletic events.  In addition the UVU Dance Team performs at several other campus and community events.  They also put on their annual UVU Dance Team in Concert which gives the students an opportunity to choreograph and perform their pieces.  Yearly the UVU Dance Team participates in Sub-4-Santa and has also been involved with the volenteer elementary school program "It's Ok How I Feel Today" created by Carly Condie. The UVU Dance Team was the official dance team for the 2002 Winter Olympics at the Peaks Arena in Provo, Utah.

Mission Statement
Through competitions, performances, appearances, and volunteer activities the Utah Valley University Dance Team serves as UVU Ambassadors. The Utah Valley University Dance Team is a entertainment and competive group and they focus on excelling in both of those areas.   The Utah Valley University Dance Team constantly strives to elevate their level of performance and raise the standard by which dance teams are evaluated.
Our coach, members, alumnae and guests choreograph our routines. Everyone on our team is encouraged to help with the choreograph or suggest material.  
The over all  mission of the Utah Valley University Dance Team is to provide the very best high quality halftimes and dance performances all while maintaining the standards, focus, and atmosphere of Utah Valley University and the UV Spirit Squad.
