Department of the Year
This award is presented to the office, department, or organization on campus that displays a commitment to the students of UVU. The recipients stand as an example of outstanding service and loyalty to the student body.

Commitment to Excellence
This award is presented to the university administrator who demonstrates a willingness to perform beyond conventional expectations to heighten the quality of UVU student experience.

Staff Excellence Award
This award is presented to the university staff member who demonstrates a willingness to perform beyond conventional expectations to heighten the quality of UVU student life.

Distinguished Volunteer Service
This award is presented to the student, faculty member, or staff person who has demonstrated a commitment to Service throughout the campus and community.

Full-Time Faculty of the Year
This award is presented to the full-time faculty member who has demonstrated academic excellence, exceptional teaching style, and dedication to students in and out of the classroom. The recipient of this award has profoundly enhanced the learning environment at UVU.

Adjunct Faculty of the Year
This award is presented to the adjunct faculty member who has demonstrated academic excellence, exceptional teaching style, and dedication to students in and out of the classroom.  The recipient of this award has profoundly enhanced the learning environment at UVU.

Wolverine Spirit
This award is presented to the student, faculty, or staff member whose unique personal style demonstrates enthusiasm and Wolverine pride which has made a positive and lasting impression on UVU.

Advisor of the Year
This award is presented to the academic advisor who has shown dedication, a willingness to go beyond their responsibilities, and helped in the advancement of students’ academic progress at UVU.

Talent of the Year
This award is presented to a student or group of students who have demonstrated exemplary talent, skill, and dedication to a chosen discipline.

UV Club of the Year
This award is presented to the UV Club which has most significantly influenced the positive growth of its individual members, the campus, and the surrounding community. This club is actively involved in representing UVU.

Friend of UVU
This award is presented to a community member who has been a significant advocate on the side of UVU, and who has led others in support of the institution.

Lifetime Achievement
This award is presented to the faculty, staff, or administrator who has excelled academically or professionally as well as displayed outstanding leadership ability during their career at UVU.

Student of the Year
This award is presented to the student who has distinguished him/herself through service to UVU and the community. This individual has demonstrated excellence in leadership, scholarship, personal integrity, and dedication to UVU.

Dean's Choice Award
This award is given to one student from each School & College chosen by the Dean of that School or College.  These students have shown excellence in their academics and have made a positive impact on the School or College.
