Utah Valley University and the Office of Student Involvement collaborates with student housing which is privately owned and situated adjacent to campus in building a student-life experience.  Each partner cooperatively sponsors at least two Resident Engagement Coordinators, student leaders who are learning and support resource for students and who create student centered and directed activities specifically made for the students in their apartment complex.   These learning activity participants are often formed into learning communities composed of students living in that student apartment complex and specifically organized to engage in activities they want and have a passion for learning and doing Resident Engagement Communities.
