"I have been working in professional theatre since my first year at UVU, when an influential instructor encouraged me to get out there and audition. That was the beginning of many important lessons I learned while studying at UVU. I believe that the best way to learn this art is by doing it. The classroom is valuable, but experience is the best teacher. My most profound lessons were learned being mentored by faculty members that took me under their wings.
