D. Terry Petrie
Associate Professor

For the past forty some years, D. Terry Petrie, has successfully earned a living in the fields of theatre and film at the university, public school and professional levels – he has a Ph.D. in Theater, Speech and Cinema.

His first love (after his wife JoAnn) is working with students. He was a Founder and Artistic Director of two very successful community theatre organizations in Western Canada before he moved to Orem.

He has been a visiting professor at a number of major Universities. He loves directing, football (he has been a head coach), dirt biking, canoeing, and horse back riding and packing. He says he loves to direct for a very good reason, "It's due to my fear of acting on the stage!"
