Attributes of TM graduates 2011 (pdf)

Our program has a multi-disciplinary focus and is designed for students who want to add management skills to a chosen technology area. Students may enter the program with any AAS or AS degree containing at least 45 credit hours in a technical specialty or may enter the program as a freshman and take their technology and management courses in parallel.

Examples of such technical specialties include, but are not limited to, Art, Automotive, Aviation, Biology, Chemistry, Communication, Computing, Construction, Drafting, Electronics, Engineering, Environmental Science, Machine Tool, Multi-Media, and Woodworking.

We view technology as the practical application of knowledge, or a capability given by such, and see Management as key skills that help bring innovation and change along with efficiency, effectiveness, continuity, quality, and safety to the process. In addition, we recognize the responsibility that all of us have to understand technology's impact on society and to address the social and moral issues associated with the appropriate use of technology (see our Mission Statement).

Our graduates are in high demand as project managers, operations managers, or supervisors in technology related organizations, and in government with salaries ranging from $25,000 to $100,000. View selected success stories.

While the Technology Management Program was one of the first to offer a four-year degree at UVU, it is also dynamic and changing to reach additional students and to add flexibility in meeting individual needs.
