EXPAND YOUR CAREER POTENTIAL WITH AN AAS DEGREE IN TECHNOLOGY
The UVU Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Technology is ideal for MATC students because it is designed for individuals working in a technical area who have considerable work experience and/or have specialized certifications, licenses, and apprenticeships.
Building upon the specializations students receive from MATC, the AAS Degree in Technology includes core courses to provide fundamental knowledge of the latest technologies and elective courses so students can explore and learn skills across broader technical areas. There is also a required supervisory course where students learn skills to manage workers. Students who graduate with an AAS Degree in Technology can also continue their education by going on to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Technology Management.
Before admission to the AAS Technology Program, MATC students must meet with the program advisor at UVU and complete an AAS Technology Advising Sheet. Once this document is signed, it becomes the articulation contract between the student and UVU. Take your first step today by contacting an advisor at UVU.
