About University College

Dean's Message

Students and their achievement of educational goals are the main focus of the University College. Each of us in University College believes that students should be given the greatest opportunity for success along with appropriate responsibility for utilizing available resources to facilitate learning.

This means that we are here to help students help themselves. All courses, programs, and services revolve around assisting students to improve as learners and members of the academic community by answering questions and pointing students to the people, offices, or information to make their ambitions and aspirations possible at UVU.

Our central business is learning but that works in two directions. We want to help students learn but we also need to learn from students. I am available to answer questions or seek additional information to improve services to students. Like everyone else in University College, I want to help students be successful.
