If you are an undergraduate student considering applying for funding to further your research, our office recommends that you consult with your faculty mentor on how to proceed. To obtain funding, it is necessary to be working with a faculty mentor on a project in which there are demonstrable objectives and outcomes. 

Any student can get involved in undergraduate research. UVU has several options available for funding listed on this website. We encourage students to browse the site to better understand their options and how to pursue them. 

The Undergraduate Research Program is part of the Office of Engaged Learning under the direction of Brian Birch, Associate Vice President for Engaged Learning.
