Park City Community Foundation—Women's Giving Fund

Awarding their first $20,000-$30,000 high-impact grant to support women and children in need in Summit County, Utah in 2015. Detailed grant guidelines can be found on the website.

Eligibility Criteria

In addition to being high impact, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Qualify as a 501c3 nonprofit organization
  • Serve women and/or children of Summit County
  • Demonstrate need with relevant data and facts
  • Demonstrate attainable goals and objectives, which include a timeline for implementation
  • Demonstrate an ability to measure and evaluate the program/project and must communicate those outcomes to the WGF membership if awarded the grant
  • Have not been the primary recipient of a Women's Giving Fund grant for the past three years

Three Corners Women's Giving Circle

Awards grants typically ranging from $2,000-$5,000 annually in January toward empowering women and girls in the three corners area: southern Utah, northwest Arizona, and Mesquite, Nevada. Applications are generally due on September 30th of each year and are available on the website.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The organization, or a program or project of the organization, serves women and/or girls in the three corners region in the areas of safety and health, education, or economic advancement and leadership 
  • Current IRS 501(c)(3) tax exempt designation 

 

Utah Women's Giving Circle

Awards grants generally ranging from $2,500 to $5,000 annually in January based on member votes. Grant applications are released in the fall of each year on the website and via email. Send an email to wgc@utahcf.org to get added to the mailing list. 

Eligibility Criteria

  • The organization, or a program or project within the organization, specifically serves to empower women and/or girls in Utah or a community within Utah
  • Current IRS 501(c)(3) tax exempt designation
  • The organization has not received a Giving Circle grant in the past two years

 

Walmart Foundation Community Grants

Awards grants ranging from $250 to $2,500 to nonprofits, faith-based organizations, and schools benefiting the service area of the store location. One of the four core areas of giving is Women's Economic Empowerment. Applications must be completed online and are due on December 31st of each year. 

 

Zions Bank Smart Women Smart Money Grants

Awards one $3,000 grant annually in each of the following 6 categories. Grants recipients are selected from applications submitted.
