UVU and the World
Initiatives
UVU recognizes the innate value of publishing OpenCourseWare and sharing Open Education Resources to the world to further the cause of education by opening up the teaching and learning experience to educators, academic administrators, and self-learners around the world.
With a proud history and reputation as both a liberal arts college and a school of trades and vocational training, UVU hopes to make a unique contribution to the OER movement by prioritizing introductory-level, sequential, and vocationally-focused teaching and learning materials. We believe that these materials will be of true value to people who otherwise may have no access to higher education.
Additionally, we believe that by sharing, reusing, and remixing its education materials UVU can contribute to a collaborative and progressive evolution of online educational practices. Learn more >>
